Expanded Poker Room At The Bellagio Sets New Industry Standard

Poker Room. The very words may inspire an image dark, dreary and clouded by smoke. With the opening today of Bellagio’s expanded poker room, the resort has forever shattered that old-fashioned formula, creating a modern venue worthy of today's transformed sport. Guests are greeted with elegance and style. A Murano hand-blown glass chandelier hangs overhead while intricate marble flooring paves the entryway. Throughout the room hangs artwork depicting the excitement of past Bellagio tournaments and previous World Poker Tour events. Celebrity painter Leroy Neiman has been commissioned to create a painting representing the current high stakes poker greats battling it out.

Within its 7,000 square feet, the room features 40 tables of non-stop action as well as ‘Bobby’s Room,’ the new two-table high-limit room named in honor of 1978 World Series of Poker Champion and Mirage Resorts President and Chief Executive Officer Bobby Baldwin.
